  • 1 packet taco seasoning Store-bought or homemade.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning along with the black beans, corn, and ready rice. Mix everything well so that the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, cover the skillet, and let it sit until the cheese has melted.
  • Serve hot with your choice of optional toppings.

Notes

For a fun twist, serve in taco shells. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 3-4 days. Reheat on stovetop or in microwave.
