  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Rotisserie chicken can be used for convenience.
  • 2 cups creamy Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Spices and Seasonings

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.

Assembly and Baking

  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.

Notes

For maximum creaminess, consider adding a splash of milk to the Alfredo sauce if it thickens during cooking. You can also try sautéing some diced onions or mushrooms with the chicken for an additional flavor boost. Vegetarian options can be made by using sautéed spinach, broccoli, or mushrooms instead of chicken.
