  • 1 cup heavy cream For richness and texture.
  • ½ cup chicken broth Provides depth.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken until cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • Remove and let rest.

Cooking the Pasta

  • In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook your chosen pasta until al dente.
  • Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt the butter.
  • Sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Stir in additional Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, heavy cream, and chicken broth.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer and reduce slightly.

Combining Ingredients

  • Slice the chicken.
  • Toss the chicken with the pasta and the creamy sauce.
  • If needed, use the reserved pasta water to reach desired sauce consistency.

Notes

Serve with garlic bread and a fresh garden salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently with a splash of chicken broth or milk.
